First Quest back to his old form

First Quest ran a cracker at Chepstow last Friday, he showed all his old sparkle going done by a diminishing neck at the line. The 33 to 1 led from start to finish. Tom Cannon gave our horse and excellent ride, settled into 3rd or 4th place moving up on entering the straight, gaining on the leader who had a 20 length lead, over the last we were still 4 lengths down but First Quest was gaining with every stride, another yard and we would have won.

He has gone up 6 lbs. to 109 in the handicap for his gallant efforts.
