Festival Season Is Nearly Upon Us
March is here and that means the start of the National Hunt Festivals with the Cheltenham Festival this month followed by Aintree with big meetings in Ireland at Fairyhouse at Easter and at Punchestown at the end of the season.
It looks like owners will be back at the races at the end of March and if all continues to progress well, it will not be long before we can get some spectators back to the races. That will not come in time for Cheltenham and Aintree, but thankfully the TV coverage has been good, so although the Festivals will be different, hopefully, they will still be enjoyable.
The horses from the yard continue to run well and after several placed efforts from our runners, there was a winner up at Uttoxeter on Sunday 21st February when Exelerator Express won a race where several of his rivals failed to complete the course.
After a couple more placed runs, the next winner came the following Thursday when Chinwag ran out an impressive winner at Sedgefield and then we had a double at Wincanton last Wednesday. Peltwell looked to have a chance on her best form and showed that to prevail in a photo. Later on the card, Golden Emblem won well and it was great to record a double on the afternoon.
There are plenty of runners from the yard this weekend and next week, so let’s hope some more success is just around the corner.
