On a sunny day at Uttoxeter and didn't Agent Saonois give a sparkling Performance

Good Afternoon All,

At declarations for Agent Saonois on Monday it was decided to engage the services of Thomasina Eyston, who arrived at the yard earlier that morning to start her new career as a professional jockey and didn't it turn out to be a spectacular choice yesterday when she gave Agent a fantastic ride to win going away at the line.

She followed instructions to the letter settling in last place, moving up, traveling well entering the straight, approaching the second last the horse suddenly swerved to the left colliding with a couple on her inside who in turn collided with the tiring leader who unseated the rider.

Thomasina sat tight pursuing Neil's other more fancied runner, it was neck and neck over the last , she got to the rails and drew away from the eventual second.

The Stewards held an enquiry interviewing our jockey, but decided the 2nd last hurdle incident was accidental.

The plan worked out perfectly, the horse wore the red hood pre race, was more settled in the parade ring and taken down to the start early.

It appears all is well with the horse this morning, he has a had a bit of physio and he will have a couple of easy days, if all stays good with him he has been entered to run again at Uttoxeter next Friday, 22nd.
